Interviewer instructions

Ask sex of each household member. Write code “1” for males and code “2” for females. It is important to ask the sex of the persons when information is being given to you by a third person. Bear in mind that some names can be misleading in this respect. For example, Vichet or Socheat can be used for a male as well as a female. For eunuchs and hermaphrodites write code "1".
